Parsi's of Pune is a book of street portraits and interviews collected on the streets of Pune city, India. The whole idea was to create a visual narrative of the lovely-bawa- souls I met and interacted with.
Some names don't fade away, not even with time.
Some are engraved on metal, some in our mind
"I don't usually come to the fire temple because I'm always sick, but today is my father's second or third death anniversary (I don't actually remember), so I am here."
"I don't remember the last time someone asked me to pose. This one is for this curious girl who comes here everyday!"
A wounded mind, A broken heart.
Religion now, was his only path.
He wasn't her knight in shining armour, nor the person who saved the day.
He just put his heart and soul, to keep the curve on her face, curved always.
"Hey please make sure I don't look old in these pictures!"
"I have been working here since the past 15 years and this is home now. I love it here and I love waking up at 4 o clock for my prayers."
"All of us (Parsi's) are really junglee people. Half crack!"
